A Little About Us
Situated on a scenic canyon rim of the Deschutes River in Maupin, Oregon, Canyon Rim Assisted Living offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys, mountains, and rivers combined with the convenience of the adjacent Deschutes Rim Health Clinic.
Canyon Rim is designed with abundant windows, a shaded courtyard, meandering walking paths, and comfortable seating areas for reading and resting. Canyon Rim is designed to have all the comforts of home while taking advantage of our community’s unique natural setting and the area’s 300 days of sunshine.
The small rural town of Maupin rests on both sides of the Deschutes River, off Highway 197. Maupin is just 45-minutes from The Dalles or Madras and a 2-hour drive from either Bend or Portland. It is close to major shopping but a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Personal Plans of Care
Our Plans of Care at Canyon Rim are designed to be customized to each resident’s service needs while maintaining the highest levels of choice, dignity, independence, privacy, respect, and individuality possible.
Our professionally-trained healthcare team works directly with residents, family members, and physicians to conduct an evaluation prior to move-in to develop a personalized Plan of Care. Family care conferences are held regularly to assure that when a resident’s needs change, their Personal Plan of Care is adjusted accordingly.
